Every home tells a story, and this project started with a simple phone call. A homeowner in Upwey, Dorset had spotted one of our flyers and reached out, desperate for help on their beautiful Grade II Listed building‍ ‍with three original timber sash windows that had seen better days.

At Upcycle Interiors Ltd, the seed of our idea was planted through necessity. Like many homeowners, we faced the frustration of trying to find reliable tradespeople in Weymouth and beyond.

At Upcycle Interiors, we’re passionate about repairing, restoring, refurbishing, and renovating existing properties.

Our ethos is simple: make do and mend. In other words, we believe in repairing what’s already there, and preserving the history and character that make a property unique.

We were contacted through our website form by a customer who found us through a word of mouth recommendation, needing help with a sash window restoration in Weymouth.

Our customer found us through Facebook and contacted us by WhatsApp in October to ask if we could install some timber shelves into the niche of the living area chimney breast so that there is more storage area.

We happily obliged! The team met to discuss how best to fit the shelves - they decided to pre-cut and sand the battens as to limit the amount of sawdust on site.

This was a bespoke carpentry commission for a garden gate with Gothic style. The customer provided some of the detail design for us to execute.

Our client in Weymouth found us via a Google search and reached out to request a refurbishment of their courtyard. We were happy to get involved and put our architectural hat on.

Our client found us when they saw one of our corex advertising boards in Upwey.

They had a long (2 pages of A4) to-do list for us of small niggles and tasks to complete following their house move.

Our client approached us during the summer after a word-of-mouth recommendation from a previous repeat customer.

She wanted a kitchen makeover with a “light touch”. We managed to completely overhaul the kitchen while she was still able to use it every day.

“Pssst, have you seen the new kid in school?  Hey, look at him!  Ohhhhh, who is that, what is his name?  Wow what a big shiny chisel!”  Jokes aside, I want to welcome onto the scene Able & Mason!
