Our customer called us wanting to have a complete change to the colour for the front of their house, as it was looking a bit unloved and was in desperate need of some TLC.
The customer wanted something in a warm mid-grey tone, so we worked with them to ensure we found the perfect shade which wasn't too dark or cool. We ended up settling on Farrow & Ball 'Worsted' as the final colour.
We put up our scaffolding in preparation for the painting, and what a view from the top! We could see all the way over to the ridgeway and Hardy's monument. As the scaffold tower is on wheels, it was easy to move around as we worked.
Before we started any prep work we had to repair some lead flashing to the top of the porch. We got it all fixed up and once the preparation was complete, we were able to get on with painting.
The scaffold tower made this job much easier and safer than trying to undertake the painting on a ladder as the house is on a hill, so it is much higher on one side than the other. Once the repairs and prep work were done it didn't take long at all to get the paint onto the wall, we're just glad it was a lovely few days and not windy being up on the top of the tower!
The customer is delighted with the new colour and we must admit, it's very refreshing compared to the previous colour! It changes shade depending on the weather!

If your home fancies a change of colour or just a freshen up, get in touch and we'll get the tower and rollers out!
