How Our Booking Process Works: From First Contact to Project Start

At Upcycle Interiors Ltd, we know that planning home improvements can feel like a big step. That’s why we’ve made our booking process as clear and stress-free as possible - from the moment you get in touch to the day we arrive at your door. Here’s what you can expect when you choose to work with us.

1. First Contact

Whether you give us a call or fill in our online contact form, that first hello is the start of your journey with us. Once we receive your enquiry, we’ll confirm that we’ve got it and let you know we’ll be back in touch within five working days.

2. Gathering the Details

To give you the most accurate advice and pricing, we may ask for additional information - such as photographs (wide-angle shots as well as close-ups are incredibly helpful) or a brief explanation of the work required. Don’t worry, we’ll guide you through what we need.

3. What Happens Next?

Once we’ve reviewed your details, we’ll move forward in one of the following ways:

  • Fixed-Price Quotation: If we have enough information, we can provide a clear, upfront cost for the job.

  • Schedule of Rates: If you're supplying your own materials or if the job is open-ended, we’ll send you a breakdown of our rates.

  • Site Visit: If the work is more complex or needs a closer look, we’ll arrange a consultation on-site to assess the project and take measurements.

We will send a text once we have emailed your quote to you, just in case it lands in your junk email folder.

Curious about the difference between a quote and a schedule of rates? We’ve explained it all in this blog post.

4. Checking In

We always follow up by text and email within a week or two after sending a quote or schedule of rates. If we haven’t heard back, we’ll gently close the file - no hard feelings, we know life gets busy! Of course, you're always welcome to reopen the conversation when you're ready.

5. Securing Your Booking

Once you decide to go ahead, we’ll ask for a small non-refundable deposit to secure your place in our schedule. This allows us to plan ahead and order any materials if needed. After your deposit is received, we’ll get in touch via email with a prospective start date and keep you updated as the project approaches.

We pride ourselves on keeping things transparent and professional while offering a friendly, down-to-earth service. If you’re thinking of booking with us and still have questions - don’t hesitate to reach out!
