What We've Been Up To

We were contacted through our website form by a customer who found us through a word of mouth recommendation, needing help with a sash window restoration in Weymouth.

Spotlight Project: Heritage Sash Window Repair in Weymouth

This bay window had some rotting in the frames which needed to be renovated.

What we did:

• Removed the left and right bay windows and replaced the staff bead and partition bead.

• Removed and replaced the bottom rail with a new, handmade bespoke piece

• Reputtied the window where necessary

• Stripped the inner box and cill timber back to bare wood

• Fit and record new pulleys

• Fit 2 new pairs of brass sash lifts & 4 new sash locks

Result: A beautifully restored bay window, improved energy efficiency, and one very happy customer.
